The famous pasar Gadong, also known as the Night Market is Locate right next to The Mall Gadong. It opens daily from around 4 pm till late. A great place try out the local food if you have not done so.

Food is usually cook only when there is an order, so it is piping hot when served.

Since all the stable are setup under tentages, it is naturally not a popular place to visit on rainy days. Watch out for the weather. 

The park is just next to the market.

All road lead to Bandar.

It is Perhaps one of Brunei Darussalam is most anticipated events but the Gerai Perayaan ("Festival Stall") in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Hj Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah is birthday every year never fails to pull in Massive crowds almost every night.

The Wafting smell of food is unavoidable and the Gerai Perayaan is the best place to go is "Sotong Tutuk".




In Bandar Seri Begawan, the stalls border the Taman Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien all fill the parking spaces in front of thge Royal Regalia Building and helium-filled balloons dot the air several feet up tied down.




Parents with young Children,young people with their friends or even whole families do not miss out an the opportunity to be a part of symbol of the nation's celebration of His Majesty Birthday. 




'Perayaan" is also meaning as Celebration. It happen once a year. It only happen when His Majesty Birthday.




Here we can find a different food and different taste. 







They also selling fruit.


And perhaps it is coincidence but the season also sees a great harvest of mata kucing(cat's eye), a smaller member of the Longan Family. Reference to the feline eyeball comes from the distinctly eerie resemblance when looked very carefully.


Roti john and burger. This is an interesting happy stall the guys sing as they cook.



Even if it does pour,there is still that very silent beauty of driving through the capital, past and even under the bright colours.
